Our take on pattern making – Logical & Analytical Skill Building

I am always looking for ways to reuse our toys and supplies for learning purpose.

Recently we took our edushape collections and started doing pattern building exercise.

Usually people would buy something like this to teach pattern.

 

 

So we replicated the same with our EduShapes and a balloon straw.

 

 

 

We played a memory game with it. First I made a pattern using the blocks and showed it to my LO.

Later we dismantle it and she tried to recall the pattern and made the same using blocks.
